CabSmart SERU Driver Survey – £50 Cash Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the CabSmart SERU Driver Survey £50 Cash Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”). By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. About the Prize Draw

The Prize Draw forms part of CabSmart SERU’s research into London black cab drivers’ experiences with the TfL Safety, Equality and Regulatory Understanding (SERU) assessment, including SERU preparation, awareness of CabSmart SERU, pricing and the services drivers may find useful.

The Prize Draw is free to enter. No purchase of CabSmart SERU or any other CabSmart product or service is required.

3. Eligibility

The Prize Draw is open to individuals who:

• are aged 18 or over;
• are resident in the United Kingdom;
• complete the eligible CabSmart SERU Driver Survey during the Promotion Period; and
• provide a valid name and email address so we can contact them if they win.

The survey is intended primarily for London black cab drivers, including drivers who have already taken the TfL SERU assessment and those who have not yet taken it.

Employees and directors of CabSmart Seru Ltd and members of their immediate households may not enter.

4. Promotion Period

The Prize Draw opens at 00:01 on 7 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 7 October 2026.

Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the Prize Draw.

5. How to Enter

To enter the Prize Draw:

1. follow the CabSmart SERU Driver Survey link;
2. complete and submit the survey before the closing date;
3. choose to enter the £50 Cash Prize Draw; and
4. provide your name and a valid email address.

No payment or purchase is required to enter.

Only one Prize Draw entry per person is permitted. Duplicate, fraudulent or automated entries may be removed.

6. The Prize

There is one cash prize of £50.

The prize will normally be paid to the winner by UK bank transfer.

The winner will be asked to provide the bank details reasonably required to make the £50 payment after they have been selected and contacted.

Bank details are not requested as part of the survey or when entering the Prize Draw. Only the selected winner will be asked to provide payment details.

The right to receive the prize is personal to the selected winner and may not be transferred to another person without the agreement of CabSmart Seru Ltd.

7. Selecting the Winner

One winner will be selected at random from all valid Prize Draw entries received before the closing date.

The draw will take place after the Promotion Period has ended.

The winner will be selected fairly from the eligible entries received.

8. Contacting the Winner

The winner will be contacted using the email address provided when entering the Prize Draw.

The winner may be required to confirm their identity and eligibility before the prize is paid.

Once eligibility has been confirmed, the winner will be asked to provide the bank details required to make the £50 payment.

If the winner does not respond within 14 days of our first attempt to contact them, CabSmart Seru Ltd reserves the right to select another winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

9. Payment of the Prize

CabSmart Seru Ltd will take reasonable steps to pay the £50 prize to the confirmed winner by bank transfer after receiving the necessary payment details.

The winner is responsible for ensuring that the bank details they provide are correct. CabSmart Seru Ltd will not be responsible for a payment being sent to an incorrect account where incorrect payment information has been supplied by the winner.

Bank details provided by the winner will be used only for administering and paying the Prize Draw prize and will not be used for marketing purposes.

10. WhatsApp Groups and Other Platforms

The survey and Prize Draw may be shared through WhatsApp groups, social media, email, websites or other communication channels.

WhatsApp, Meta, Facebook, X, Google, Microsoft, Apple and any other third-party platform through which the survey or Prize Draw may be shared are not sponsors, administrators or promoters of this Prize Draw and are not responsible for its operation.

Participation in any WhatsApp group, social media group or other third-party platform is not required to enter the Prize Draw.

11. Personal Information and Privacy

To administer the survey and Prize Draw, CabSmart Seru Ltd may collect personal information including your name, email address and survey responses.

For the selected winner only, we may also collect the bank details reasonably required to pay the £50 cash prize.

We may use survey information to conduct market research, understand driver awareness and SERU preparation, understand attitudes towards CabSmart SERU, improve our products and services, and administer the Prize Draw.

Taking part in the survey or entering the Prize Draw does not automatically sign you up to receive marketing communications from CabSmart Seru Ltd.

Where you are offered the option to receive marketing communications, this will be presented separately and will be optional.

12. Marketing Communications

Entry into the Prize Draw is not conditional on agreeing to receive marketing communications.

If you separately choose to receive marketing from CabSmart Seru Ltd, we may use the email address you provide to send relevant CabSmart news, product updates, information and offers.

Where you have already provided an email address for the Prize Draw and separately agree to receive marketing, you may choose to allow CabSmart Seru Ltd to use that same email address for marketing communications.

You can withdraw your marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in our marketing emails or by contacting us.

13. Survey Responses

Survey responses may be analysed to help CabSmart Seru Ltd understand London black cab drivers’ experiences with the TfL SERU assessment, awareness and use of CabSmart SERU, purchase decisions, pricing and preparation methods.

Where possible, research findings may be analysed or reported in an aggregated or anonymised form.

14. Disqualification

CabSmart Seru Ltd reserves the right to reject or remove an entry where we reasonably believe that:

• false or misleading information has been provided;
• an individual has attempted to enter the Prize Draw more than once;
• automated or fraudulent methods have been used;
• the entry does not meet these Terms & Conditions; or
• there has been an attempt to interfere with the fair operation of the Prize Draw.

15. Changes or Cancellation

CabSmart Seru Ltd reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Prize Draw where circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary.

If a significant change is made, we will take reasonable steps to make updated information available.

16. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CabSmart Seru Ltd will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted or not successfully submitted because of technical problems, internet failures, third-party platforms or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

CabSmart Seru Ltd will also not be responsible for delays in payment caused by incorrect bank information supplied by the winner, banking system delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. General

CabSmart Seru Ltd’s decision regarding the administration of the Prize Draw and the eligibility of entries will be final, subject to applicable law.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute relating to the Prize Draw will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any rights participants may have under applicable consumer law.
